On to Nashville...

Nashville, the country music capital of the world, and home (at least part time)  to most modern pop and music stars...

A very different vibe than Memphis, Nashville is in the hills, surrounded by countryside, affluent suburbs, and just chock full o good ol boys...

The music does not stop here either... There has been live music at every place I visited, and even at the campground nightly. It is certainly "music city".

I picked up a ticket for The Grand Ole Oprey show Friday night. Looking forward to that.
While I've not been the biggest country fan, I appreciate it and the venue is too important in American music history to miss.

I did wind up raining quite a bit during our visit, so we spent much time holed up in the camper, not as many pics as other stops.

We spent some time with this Fisherman, turns out he's in the music biz, and was on a break from tour. Small world!

Got hot and humid, taking a break in the truck. TN is beautiful when its not raining.

Exploring the Cumberland River.

Mmmm, Pizza! This small pizza place had outdoor seating and a doggy fountain.'Carillo's'
While several of the eateries i tried were not much to write about this "Carney Fork" place was  Very Good!
