I was hit with a major storm on the way up, we had high winds, large hail, and at times no visibility. However, right a I was deciding to pull off and wait it out, we got north of the storm, and things cleared up. I will stop sooner the next time I hit weather like that, as the stress and white knuckles were not worth it.
Stayed in Troy, MI. We setup in the back driveway of friends of friends. The dogs have a nice yard to explore and have already chased some rabbits. My friends in Troy helped make sure we are well setup, and served up a nice meal. My sincere thanks to them for taking such good care off us.
