Mount Rushmore...

We climbed out of rapid city and up to the Mount Rushmore monument. The dogs are not allowed up to the monument, but I found a spot to take pics of them With the mountain above...

I was very impressed with the monument, we just don't do big things like that anymore. I was also impressed with the park itself, the ability to manage so many vehicles and people.

I checked out the sculptors studio, and many small trails with views.

I was happy to find they served ice cold beer, and I sat and people watched below the faces of our forefathers, while sipping a local wheat beer.

The park is what you would expect, but totally worth a visit.
