A night of live music in Michigan; Heart & Jason Bonham

To cap off the visit, and celebrate my hosts birthday, we went out for a concert near Detroit.

It was heart and Jason Bonham (John, the led zellelin drummers son) .

Jason's band was a tribute band to Zeppelin, and they rocked

The vocalist was errily similar to plant and powerful in his delivery. The drums were miced and prominent in the mix. I really enjoyed hearing these classics live, and I can say so did the audience.

Hearts set was great, too. You forget how many hits they have. The Wilson sisters brought it home!

The real fun of the evening was when the Bonham band joined Heart and they did several amazing zeppelin covers, including immigrant song, Kashmir, and ending with stairway to heaven.

We had such a good time! It was also my friends daughters first concert, and I'm glad to have been a part of that!

The sunset provided an extra light show.

Celebrating with the Birthday Boy!!
